Autoflo 800BP Furnace Humidifier, Wheel Bypass, Cap 2500

The Autoflo Whole House Furnace Mount Humidifier Model 800BP is a recirculating bypass style of evaporative humidifier with a revolving pad is designed to produce a maximum of 17 gallons per day. This humidifier is meant for medium sized home up to 2,500 sq. ft.

The unit offers high efficiency with adjustable float control, a self-reversing motor that prevents burnout, easy filter removal and a viewing port and comes with a one year warranty. This model is meant for gas or oil forced furnaces (not meant for heat pumps). It's meant to be mounted on the side of the warm air supply, also called a plenum.

A bypass humidifier depends on the pressure difference between the warm air supply (also called a plenum) and the cold air return duct of the furnzce itself. This differential pressure causes part of the warm air to flow from the plenum into the return duct. This model is the "professional installation" versions and features a plastic molded case, designed to be wired directly into the furnace blower motor circuit.
